Base Salary
$269k - $352k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services supporting internal data products and applications.
- Acquire, normalize, and use alternative data sources for data-driven internal products.
- Translate investing and operations workflows into reliable software solutions.
- Design, implement, and iteratively ship backend features and systems using user feedback.
- Own assigned services or projects from development through production support.
- Write maintainable code and collaborate with engineering, investing, and operations teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python 3 or another backend language and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience deploying production services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with production SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Elasticsearch.
- Experience building and deploying containerized services; Kubernetes familiarity is a plus.
- Experience in environments emphasizing rapid iteration, code quality, and operational excellence.
- Strong problem-solving skills, solid technical fundamentals, and effective collaboration skills.
