Base Salary
$191k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and high-quality frontend applications across the stack.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver customer-focused features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Build automated tests, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Contribute hands-on to system design and architectural decisions supporting reliability, security, and scalability.
- Mentor engineers and support a strong engineering culture through guidance, reviews, and shared technical ownership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience shipping production systems or features.
- Experience building backend services with relational databases such as MySQL and using microservices or service-oriented architectures.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks or libraries.
- Solid system design, coding, and testing skills across frontend and backend development.
- Ability to collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and data teams.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the growth of other engineers through reviews, guidance, or leadership.
