Base Salary
$228k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical roadmap and strategy for the Build Systems team.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify developer pain points and design solutions.
- Lead initiatives to reduce build/test times and improve CI reliability.
- Design and maintain modern developer tools and scalable build systems.
- Architect and implement large-scale infrastructure on AWS.
- Mentor team members through technical guidance and code reviews.
- Collaborate with product engineers and communicate technical decisions effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends in build systems and developer tooling.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years on Infrastructure or Developer Experience teams.
- Deep expertise in build systems and operating large-scale monorepos.
- Experience optimizing CI/CD and building developer tooling at scale.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, CI platforms, and strong coding skills in languages like Go, TypeScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Proven technical leadership with a track record of setting technical direction.
