Winter 2027 Test Automation Engineer Co-op

- Build and validate Python-based automated test executive scripts for manual manufacturing procedures.
- Connect local test-station data outputs to cloud data pipelines, including basic authentication handling.
- Investigate recurring test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and build operator triage tools or dashboards.
- Design and implement features for an existing Windows or Linux test executive application.
- Automate manual steps in the test software deployment process and document the handoff.
- Create and validate scripts that communicate with test fixtures or instruments over standard protocols.
- Own one or more scoped projects end to end with mentor support and provide working deliverables, documentation, and technical writeups.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Must return to school after the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
- Must be able to complete an in-person 16–24 week internship in a company office during Winter 2027.
- Preferred qualifications include Python coursework or project experience, Git exposure, familiarity with automated testing or CI/CD concepts, multidisciplinary project collaboration, device communication protocols, desktop application development, embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, RESTful services, and relational or NoSQL databases.
