Staff Engineer, Operations Technology

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own scalable infrastructure for menu operations.
- Act as a technical bridge between business leads and engineering teams.
- Define and drive best practices for model serving, APIs, and system design.
- Lead cross-squad technical initiatives from architecture to implementation.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure production services are performant.
- Contribute to engineering standards and shape the technical roadmap.
- Mentor and support engineers across squads.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong foundation in Python, Kotlin, and GoLang.
- Proven track record in architectural decisions for large-scale systems.
- Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Experience using AI coding agents in regular workflow.
- Collaborative approach with strong technical judgment.
