Responsibilities
- Assist with the technical design and implementation of application components, interfaces, and backend functionality.
- Build, test, configure, tune, and deploy solutions throughout the development-to-production lifecycle.
- Provide technical and domain expertise for the Distributed Common Data Transport Service platform.
- Support application interconnectivity, resiliency, reliability, performance, data integrity, and recovery.
- Work with infrastructure partners to establish development, testing, and production environments.
- Elaborate requirements with the Functional Architect and review or extend data models.
- Construct performance test cases and strategies and tune application performance issues.
- Implement security solutions and complete test plans while mentoring other team members.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and contribute to technology standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with QA and Product partners to deliver solutions against specified requirements.
- Align risk and control processes with day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience, including JavaScript, core Java, Perl or Shell scripting, and automated unit testing for frontend and backend development.
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL query development, and stored procedure development.
- Experience with Eclipse, Git or BitBucket, Maven, Jenkins, and HiPAM tools.
- Experience deploying to and configuring Tomcat application servers.
- Experience with Agile development, including Scrum and Kanban, and use of JIRA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Experience with IBM Application Connect Enterprise, formerly IIB, is a plus.
