Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and promote excellence in cloud and DevOps practices.
- Design solutions for new deployments and product enhancements while maintaining system functionality, performance, and security.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline tools and infrastructure.
- Support software developers by gathering build requirements, providing updates, and completing DevOps tasks.
- Monitor automation infrastructure and implement logging, metrics, and alerting with tools such as Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
- Reduce vulnerabilities, support compliance certifications, and maintain security and compliance practices.
- Design, implement, and optimize AI agent services, GitHub Copilot usage, and workflow automation.
- Manage and provision infrastructure with Terraform and maintain source control systems with GitHub.
- Create documentation and runbooks and support knowledge sharing across teams and time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience managing systems in a large-scale production environment.
- At least 5 years of experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting cloud computing services, preferably AWS.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications with Kubernetes or a similar tool.
- At least 5 years of experience managing and provisioning infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- At least 5 years of professional software development or scripting experience using Python, Bash, or a similar language.
- At least 5 years of experience implementing GitHub Copilot or building workflows with AI agents and LLM APIs.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder with an active Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Preferred experience includes AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, EMR, EBS, RDS, and CloudFront.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS or Kubernetes certifications, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification, or GitHub Actions certification.
- Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring and observability tools is preferred.
- Ability to support MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL database servers.
- Preferred cloud security experience includes vulnerability detection and remediation, access hardening, automated security scanning, and dependency management in GitHub workflows.
- Software engineering experience with Java or C++ is preferred.
- Ability to create project plans, budgets, presentations, and documentation involving multiple products and teams.
