Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and administer embedded and real-time software for end-user customers and business programs.
- Participate in requirements, design, implementation, qualification, and delivery across the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop multi-threaded software for flight-critical, safety-critical, medical, or mission-critical real-time applications.
- Work in Agile Scrum teams across multiple software baselines and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and test organizations.
- Analyze system capabilities, requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, controls, and software defects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years, or a PhD and 1 year.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, embedded system programming, software integration, and testing.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, real-time operating systems, and multi-threaded real-time software.
- Experience with at least one of Jira, GitLab, Fortify, or Coverity.
- Active U.S. Secret clearance issued by the U.S. Government.
- Preferred experience includes at least two listed data interfaces, Google Unit Test or another unit-test framework, MATLAB or Simulink, VxWorks, Integrity, RTX 64, Real Time Embedded Linux, assembly, software architecture, modeling or diagramming tools, OS partitioning, isolation architectures, and airworthiness certification requirements.
