Responsibilities
- Advise prospects on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes
- Communicate with technical and executive stakeholders to build trust and influence buying decisions
- Lead technical qualification and customized demonstrations with Account Executives
- Scope and execute proof-of-concept projects, including data ingestion, architecture, success criteria, and rollout strategies
- Apply Mixpanel best practices throughout proof-of-concept projects
- Partner with Account Executives to support revenue growth across ANZ
- Coordinate with post-sales teams to translate pre-sales value propositions into customer results
- Develop relationships with technical stakeholders across the assigned book of business
- Collect prospect feedback and share it with the Product team
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in SaaS Sales Engineering or a related role
- Demonstrated success qualifying and selling technical solutions to executive stakeholders in the Australian market
- Experience with data querying, modeling, and transformation using SQL, dbt, Python, business intelligence platforms, or product analytics tools
- Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses including Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Successful experience in sales engineering, consulting, or technical project management
- Strong written, analytical, communication, presentation, process, and project delivery skills
- Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, and Gemini
- Ability to travel within ANZ and occasionally across APJ
- Preferred experience with value engineering frameworks, quantified business outcomes, ROI calculators, and executive KPI conversations
- Preferred experience with Australian enterprise or mid-market technology companies, ANZ partners or system integrators, product-led growth, high-growth SaaS environments, and broader APJ markets
