Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical advisor on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes.
- Communicate Mixpanel’s technical benefits and business value to stakeholders ranging from developers to senior executives.
- Lead technical qualification, customized demos, proof-of-concept scoping, and execution for prospects and customers.
- Consult on data ingestion, architecture, success criteria, rollout strategies, and analytics best practices.
- Partner with Account Executives to support revenue growth and serve as the key technical customer contact across ANZ.
- Work with post-sales teams to translate pre-sales value propositions into customer results.
- Develop relationships with technical stakeholders and provide customer feedback to the Product team.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in SaaS sales engineering or a related role.
- Demonstrated success qualifying and selling technical solutions to executive stakeholders in the Australian market.
- Experience querying, modeling, and transforming data using SQL, dbt, Python, business intelligence platforms, or product analytics tools.
- Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses such as Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Experience in sales engineering, consulting, or technical project management.
- Excellent written, analytical, communication, and presentation skills with strong process and project delivery discipline.
- Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, and Gemini.
- Ability to travel within ANZ and occasionally across APJ.
- Preferred experience with value engineering frameworks, Australian enterprise or mid-market technology companies, ANZ partner or system integrator ecosystems, product-led growth, high-growth SaaS environments, and broader APJ markets.
