Base Salary
$115k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for next-generation metrology tools and platforms.
- Create and enhance software emulation tools for product development, testing, and validation.
- Analyze requirements and implement robust software designs.
- Develop, test, debug, and deliver software features throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, algorithm, and applications engineers across the U.S. and internationally.
- Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain complex software systems.
Requirements
- Experience programming in C# and C++.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles.
- Experience developing multithreaded applications.
- Experience with WPF GUI development.
- Knowledge of image-processing concepts and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative global engineering environment.
- Preferred: experience with scientific, engineering, or instrumentation software.
- Preferred: familiarity with software architecture and design patterns.
- Preferred: experience with complex distributed or real-time systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of semiconductor equipment, metrology, inspection, or imaging systems.
- Preferred: experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
- Minimum qualification: a master's-level degree with 0 years of related work experience, or a bachelor's-level degree with 2 years of related work experience.
