Base Salary
$82k - $113k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain AI tools and automations that solve business problems.
- Work directly with business users to understand workflows and pain points, translate requirements into prototypes, and iterate based on feedback.
- Document code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure quality, usability, and adoption.
- Integrate AI tools with existing business systems and workflows.
- Support software systems for aerospace applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2+ years of software development experience.
- Basic proficiency in C++, Java, or Python and proficiency in Python or a similar scripting or application language for AI and automation development.
- Ability to work directly with non-engineering business stakeholders and understanding of engineering principles and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Preferred qualifications include software development internship or cooperative education experience, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, API integration, LLM or chatbot exposure, workflow automation, requirements gathering, software tools for requirements tracking and code reviews, static analysis, artifact repositories, automated builds, data structures, and presenting software to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Government international trade authorization requirements as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required authorizations.
