Responsibilities
- Administer and support production systems across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments to maintain availability, performance, and reliability.
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and deployment automation using Git, Jenkins, Maven, and related tools.
- Administer Kubernetes environments, including EKS or AKS, container orchestration, ingress controllers, load balancing, and networking.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, and SaltStack.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Linux-based Java application environments, including Tomcat, RabbitMQ, and Oracle.
- Use Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Grafana for observability and production support.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams across globally distributed environments.
Requirements
- Requires 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Production Support role.
- Requires strong Linux systems administration experience in enterprise production environments.
- Requires experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS and/or Azure AKS.
- Requires experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Requires experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Requires working knowledge of Layer 4 and Layer 7 networking, load balancers, and ingress controllers.
- Requires Bash and/or Python scripting experience.
- Requires experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack.
- Requires experience supporting Java applications, JVMs, Apache Tomcat, RabbitMQ, and Oracle databases.
- Requires strong communication and collaboration skills for working with globally distributed teams.
