Firmware Engineer (f/m/d) for Embedded / Automotive / ASIP RISC‑-V

- Collaborate with system architects, product definition, and hardware development teams.
- Define, customize, and optimize ASIP RISC-V architectures.
- Design and implement firmware for deeply embedded application-specific microcontrollers and DSPs.
- Define and refine firmware requirements and architecture.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and firmware validation strategies.
- Establish and maintain toolchains, simulation environments, and debug workflows.
- Analyze and optimize performance in constrained real-time environments.
- Ensure implementation compliance with ISO 26262 functional-safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in embedded C programming in bare-metal environments and assembly language.
- Proficiency with compilers, debuggers, linkers, simulators, emulators, static-analysis tools, and testing tools.
- Understanding of memory-constrained and real-time systems, register-level hardware interaction, and CPU architecture principles.
- Experience with signal-processing basics, including FIR/IIR filters and ADC data handling.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for test automation and tooling.
- Good understanding of ASPICE and ISO 26262 software-development processes.
- Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
