Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, platform engineering, and release automation practices.
  • Define and implement enterprise-wide SRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, reliability governance, and system health metrics.
  • Lead AIOps capabilities for predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, event correlation, automated root cause analysis, and intelligent alerting.
  • Design and build observability frameworks for metrics, logs, traces, events, instrumentation, telemetry collection, and distributed tracing.
  • Develop internal observability, monitoring, and performance-optimization platforms and integrate reliability checks into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in incident triage, on-call readiness, root cause analysis, postmortems, runbooks, playbooks, and automated escalations.
  • Partner with engineering, platform, and product teams to embed reliability and observability into system design.
  • Provide technical leadership, influence cross-functional initiatives, and mentor teams in reliability, automation, and observability practices.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in software engineering, SRE, or production engineering for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience with AIOps or intelligent monitoring platforms, including anomaly detection and event correlation.
  • Strong expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes, containers, and microservices; and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, resiliency patterns, and fault tolerance, plus experience with incident management, on-call processes, and root cause analysis.
  • Hands-on Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with GenAI or automation tools and frameworks such as OpenAI, CoPilot, Gemini, Claude, or MCP.
  • Ability to design scalable, reliable, and observable systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred qualifications include machine learning applications in IT operations, large-scale SLI/SLO and error-budget management, chaos engineering and resilience testing, GenAI-driven operations, cross-functional technical leadership, and open-source contributions in SRE, observability, or AIOps.
  • Certifications in AIOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, cloud platforms, or DevOps are preferred.

  • The stated pay range is €35,000.00–€90,000.00.
