Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support LabVIEW programs and test instrumentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate system requirements, specifications, and objectives into system designs.
- Interface with end users and customers to refine requirements and iterate designs.
- Develop measurement and test routines in LabVIEW and TestStand.
- Create test plans and methods, validate designs against customer, internal, regulatory, and government requirements, and document test results.
- Produce software documentation for release packages and present assigned work at technical reviews, proposals, and technical meetings.
- Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of LabVIEW algorithms, test environments, and systems for space and military applications.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, test, and production engineering teams to address interdependencies, constraints, and system-level performance objectives.
Requirements
- Principal level requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of professional experience, a master’s degree in engineering and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience.
- Senior Principal level requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8 years of professional experience, a master’s degree in engineering and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience.
- Proven experience with National Instruments LabVIEW data acquisition systems and programming is required.
- Experience developing measurement and test routines in the LabVIEW or LabVIEW/TestStand environment is required.
- Must currently hold an active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, communication, writing, documentation, and independent work skills are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required.
- Preferred qualifications include LabVIEW algorithms, test environments, space or military applications, cross-functional engineering collaboration, control models, requirements review, trade studies, and CLAD, CLD, or CLA LabVIEW certifications.
