Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python and Django.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and refactor existing code as needed.
- Integrate database, key-value, and blob storage solutions.
- Collaborate with frontend developers on integration of user-facing elements with backend logic.
- Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data protection measures.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure reliable application operation.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, and external stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Python/Django development.
- Proficiency in Python and strong experience with Django web development.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend integration.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL database systems.
- Experience developing and deploying Django-based web applications.
- Knowledge of Git, software development principles, and design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with React or Angular is a plus.
- Experience with GCP is a plus.
- Relevant Python, Django, or web development certifications are beneficial.
