Responsibilities

  • Develop microservices, integrations, backend services, full-stack applications, UI components, and API components.
  • Design applications and subsystems across multiple platforms and support multiple divisional initiatives.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain automated and manual test suites and support all phases of testing through implementation.
  • Design, maintain, deploy, and monitor CI/CD pipelines and web-based services.
  • Perform requirements gathering, technical and functional analysis, solutioning, technical design, and project planning.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, provide ongoing application maintenance, and perform post-installation testing.
  • Create technical documentation, workflows, project artifacts, and application documentation.
  • Support user acceptance testing, release readiness, and customer and user experience improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and one year of relevant experience.
  • Three years of experience with the bachelor’s pathway or one year with the master’s pathway performing full-stack development and automated testing in a financial services environment.
  • Experience using Java, JavaScript, Angular, RESTful web services, and Selenium.
  • Expertise designing, developing, testing, and maintaining employer-sponsored integrated financial, health, and benefits solutions.
  • Experience with mid-tier, frontend, database, testing, design, automation, deployment, version-control, issue-tracking, monitoring, and performance-testing technologies listed in the posting.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting technical designs, deploying applications, monitoring services, and supporting database application maintenance.
