Responsibilities
- Support Jenkins as a production CI service by maintaining availability, stability, and responsiveness.
- Administer Jenkins jobs, pipelines, plugins, and system updates.
- Triage CI failures, determine root causes, and address infrastructure concerns with the team.
- Manage Jenkins agents, node lifecycles, capacity, and resource utilization.
- Improve system reliability, CI signal quality, automation, and operational repeatability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support CI/CD workflows and improve pipeline stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or software engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, including build, test, and pipeline execution.
- Experience administering Jenkins, including pipelines, job configuration, or plugin management.
- Experience working in Linux environments and troubleshooting system-level issues.
- Preferred: experience operating CI/CD systems at scale, Git-based development workflows, Python or shell scripting, infrastructure concepts, and reliability or monitoring practices.
