Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded and backend software using modern C++.
- Develop and integrate real-time software components for performance-critical systems.
- Implement sensor data processing and fusion algorithms.
- Design and integrate Qt/QML user interfaces with C++ backend systems.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with systems, embedded, and UI/UX engineers across the software lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance within the software team.
Requirements
- Strong experience in embedded software development and C++ in real-time, embedded, or performance-critical environments.
- Mandatory experience with Qt/QML development.
- Experience designing software that interfaces with sensors and hardware-level systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and system performance considerations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience.
- Experience with sensor-based systems such as vision, radar, navigation, or perception is desirable.
- Real-time or safety-critical systems experience, embedded Linux exposure, and experience leading or mentoring engineers are desirable.
- Candidates must be willing to complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
