Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end perception and autonomous-vehicle-stack solutions for traffic signal detection across varied driving environments.
- Develop deep learning models for traffic lights, traffic signs, road markings, construction objects, text recognition, and related perception tasks.
- Develop generalizable approaches for diverse operational design domains and country or region expansion.
- Partner with data collection and ground-truth teams to prioritize data collection, labeling, and labeling-efficiency improvements.
- Use data simulation and augmentation to address extreme driving scenarios.
- Productize perception solutions while meeting safety, latency, and software robustness requirements.
Requirements
- PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience developing deep learning and algorithms for sophisticated real-world problems.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Experience with data-driven development and collaboration with data and ground-truth teams.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Technical leadership experience involving high technical and organizational complexity is a plus.
- Expertise in autonomous-driving or robotics perception using deep learning with cameras is a plus.
- Experience deploying DNN-based solutions to embedded platforms for real-time applications is a plus.
- Technical publications in leading conferences or journals, and experience with Visual Language Models, Transformers, BEV architectures, and complex object detection and recognition, are advantageous.
