Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate customer-facing native and web client capabilities for Amazon WorkSpaces.
- Develop secure session connectivity, client lifecycle features, cross-platform architecture, user experience, performance improvements, software updates, operational telemetry, and workflow integrations.
- Own features from design through production and collaborate with teams across AWS.
- Solve complex issues in customer-managed environments while maintaining high standards for security, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Extend the WorkSpaces client experience to support enterprise AI-agent workloads, permissions, governance, observability, and human oversight.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience and experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience leading large, fast-moving projects, solving ambiguous challenges, and architecting, securing, and operating AWS and client software.
