Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain shared agentic AI platform services used by domain and platform teams to deploy agents at enterprise scale.
  • Own the agent platform engineering layer, including orchestration, registration, monitoring, governance, prompt patterns, model selection, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Establish engineering practices, tooling, documentation, knowledge bases, architecture standards, and reusable patterns for the new agentic AI capability.
  • Collaborate with architects, integration engineers, data platform engineers, and product teams to connect agents with enterprise systems, APIs, data sources, and governed infrastructure.
  • Support teams building domain-specific and platform-specific agents through platform services, engineering guidance, and pattern compliance reviews.
  • Define and operate platform SLOs covering orchestration latency, agent reliability, and evaluation pipeline throughput.
  • Evaluate emerging agentic AI tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns and conduct proof-of-concept validations.
  • Apply monitoring, alerting, logging, incident management, release management, rollback, service ownership, and AI governance practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, platform engineering, or software engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating agentic AI systems, LLM-based platforms, or multi-agent orchestration frameworks on Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Python and modern software engineering experience, including LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
  • Practical knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation patterns, vector databases, embeddings, API design, REST, event-driven patterns, and workflow-based integration.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud AI services such as Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Experience building production-grade services with operational monitoring and defining SLOs for platform capabilities used by multiple teams.
  • Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and agent interactions with systems, APIs, and data sources.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, risk and security controls, model and prompt versioning, auditability, human-in-the-loop review, responsible AI guardrails, identity and access control, secrets management, data classification, data loss prevention, policy enforcement, bias monitoring, and evaluation evidence.
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation methods including automated agent-output testing, hallucination detection, prompt regression testing, and human-in-the-loop feedback.
  • Ability to establish engineering standards in ambiguous greenfield environments and collaborate with senior architecture, security, data, and delivery stakeholders.
  • Experience in retail, luxury, or consumer goods is beneficial.
