Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-performance, reliable, mission-critical software used to send commands to space.
  • Build services that autonomously control satellites, monitor telemetry for anomalies, and provide real-time situational awareness.
  • Develop core platform components and services that support the broader software organization.
  • Take full ownership of features across backend software and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define software requirements, architectures, and designs.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience and understanding of databases such as Postgres.
  • Experience and understanding of pub/sub and streaming systems such as RabbitMQ and Flink.
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required for U.S. Government space technology export regulations.

  • Hourly role with a base pay of $29.00 per hour.
  • Work contributes to both commercial and U.S. government programs.
