Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle and PL/SQL applications, including packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
- Work with Banner CIS, Oracle Forms, Oracle databases, and PL/SQL processes involving file I/O.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain existing enterprise applications and legacy code.
- Use UNIX environments, shell scripting, and UNIX utilities to support development and operational processes.
- Understand enterprise business processes and identify opportunities to optimize them through technology solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing with Oracle.
- At least 5 years of solid PL/SQL experience.
- Experience with Banner CIS and Oracle Forms.
- Experience with Oracle databases, ideally Oracle Database 19c.
- Experience with an Oracle IDE such as Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer, or T.O.A.D.
- Experience working in UNIX environments and scripting with sh and/or ksh.
- Knowledge of UNIX utilities including vi/emacs, awk, diff, find, grep, sed, and tar.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Reports/Oracle Reports 19, Oracle Forms 19c, AIX, Pro*C, C or C++, Pro*COBOL, and COBOL.
- Preferred experience with enterprise applications combining batch processes, interfaces, and online systems.
- Advanced English is required.
