Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, enhancing, and documenting software applications.
- Support the creation and execution of unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects while validating functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based development projects.
- Assist in developing, integrating, or testing AI-enabled features and services and use AI coding assistants responsibly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies and software delivery activities.
- Research tools and technologies, suggest product and process improvements, and present project findings.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Basic knowledge of one or more of Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and data structures.
- Familiarity with Git, testing, debugging, APIs, relational databases, and SQL.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services.
- Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, including privacy, security, fairness, and ethical use.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, independence, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the stated education requirement.
