Base Salary
$191k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve user-facing native iOS experiences for content discovery, consumption, creation, and community engagement.
- Lead projects through product definition, technical design, implementation, experimentation, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with product, design, data science, ML, backend, and platform teams to deliver measurable user and business impact.
- Improve iOS architecture, performance, reliability, accessibility, developer workflows, and engineering standards.
- Mentor teammates and drive cross-functional technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing and shipping consumer-facing native iOS applications at scale using Swift.
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks and application architecture.
- Ability to write idiomatic, readable, reusable, and testable code.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, reliability, maintainability, mobile system design, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience building scalable features from APIs through user-facing UI.
- Experience with experimentation, feature flags, instrumentation, analytics, and product or quality-of-experience metrics.
- Familiarity with AVFoundation, VideoToolbox, HLS, media playback, recommendation systems, accessibility, or ML-integrated products is preferred.
