Responsibilities
- Build agentic AI applications including tools, skills, prompts, planners, memory, and evaluation loops.
- Develop RAG services covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, vector database integration, observability, and guardrails.
- Integrate enterprise APIs, event streams, and data sources with robust error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
- Write clean, testable software and implement unit, integration, offline, and online evaluations, including red-team scenarios and safety boundaries.
- Prototype rapidly, demonstrate solutions, communicate trade-offs, and translate business problems into practical AI applications.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Java full-stack development.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end applications and integrate AI into existing systems.
- A visible portfolio of AI projects demonstrating experimentation and rapid learning.
- Proficiency in at least two core development languages, including Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java.
- Ability to learn quickly, prototype rapidly, solve business problems practically, and communicate clearly.
- Preferred technologies include C#/.NET, Go, Rust, SQL, Bash, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, PyTest, JUnit, and Jest.
