Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain behavioral and signature cyber detections.
- Triage and escalate security alerts and support incident response through monitoring capabilities.
- Conduct threat hunting, threat intelligence, data analysis, risk management, and governance activities.
- Evaluate threats, countermeasures, and security architecture to improve the firm’s security posture.
- Monitor critical vulnerabilities, cyber events affecting critical third parties and vendors, and notable cyber campaigns.
- Maintain and enhance bespoke tools supporting the firm’s threat-hunting efforts.
- Work with customers to gather requirements and translate them into complete solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity fields such as threat hunting, cyber intelligence, detection engineering, blue teaming, penetration testing, incident response, SOC operations, or cyber risk, or relevant educational experience.
- Detailed understanding of security architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience creating behavioral and signature detections.
- Experience triaging and escalating alerts and supporting incident response monitoring.
- Good understanding of cloud environments across major vendors.
- Good understanding of cryptocurrency, smart contracts, and Web3 security threats.
- Strong Python coding ability; knowledge of other programming languages is welcome.
- Ability to work with customers, gather requirements, and distill them into complete solutions.
