Responsibilities

Define and review software architecture and technical solutions for mission-critical railway systems.
Lead technical discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and pull request approvals.
Guide development using VB.NET and SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and performance considerations.
Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine requirements and consolidate railway-domain knowledge.
Monitor development progress, manage priorities, and ensure on-time delivery.
Identify and mitigate technical risks, bottlenecks, technical debt, and maintainability concerns.

Strong experience with VB.NET development and SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Proven experience in technical leadership or in a senior software engineering role.
Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Repos, Boards, and Pipelines, and with CI/CD implementation and management.
Experience conducting code reviews, design reviews, technical analysis, and pull request approvals.
Ability to evaluate technical solutions and trade-offs, solve problems, analyze issues, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, fast learning ability, and advanced English proficiency.
Availability to travel domestically and internationally according to project and customer needs.
Experience with railway or train dispatching systems, mission-critical or real-time systems, legacy modernization, or broader DevOps automation is desirable.
Full-stack knowledge is a plus.
