Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain event-driven cloud-native HCM software for Payroll and Tax.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core/Framework and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
- Work with application observability, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD tools.
- Collaborate on engineering best practices, code reviews, and process improvements.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, product managers, operations, and executives.
- Own technical output and contribute to the product roadmap across Payroll & Tax, Time & Attendance, and Human Resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, a related field, or similar work experience.
- 8+ years of full-stack production engineering experience in a SaaS software environment.
- Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core/Framework and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Experience designing and operating microservices in a container-orchestrated environment.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture.
- Frontend expertise with Vue.js, React, Angular, or another modern JavaScript framework.
- Working knowledge of relational database management systems and NoSQL databases.
- AWS associate-level certification is an advantage.
