Base Salary
$230k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end product experiences across web services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product, design, and research teams to prototype and launch AI-native experiences.
- Create intuitive and performant interfaces for advanced AI capabilities.
- Develop scalable backend systems for personalized, real-time product experiences.
- Work with multimodal capabilities including text, images, and interactive UI components.
- Iterate quickly using user feedback and product metrics.
- Define engineering standards and technical direction for the product area.
Requirements
- Significant experience building consumer-facing products end to end.
- Comfortable with frontend, backend, infrastructure, and product architecture.
- Strong focus on craft, user experience, and product quality.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and take ideas from zero to one.
- Strong systems thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills across engineering, design, product, and research teams.
- Preferred experience with modern frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, or Next.js.
- Experience building scalable backend services using Python, Go, Node.js, or Rust.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Background in AI, machine learning, or multimodal systems is a plus.
