Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop robust user interfaces from high-fidelity designs and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver customer-centric products.
- Own features from design review through production rollout, ensuring quality, usability, and performance.
- Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Break down complex technical and product challenges into actionable tasks and drive completion.
- Evolve design systems and frontend architecture for scalability, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Partner with backend and infrastructure engineers to define efficient APIs and data contracts.
- Mentor and coach engineers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Champion accessibility, performance, and security throughout frontend development.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including production support.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience developing modern web applications with TypeScript, React, and workflows such as Flux or Redux.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Experience collaborating with product designers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong user-experience focus and empathy for end users when designing UI flows and interactions.
- Hands-on experience with Figma, Framer, or InVision.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud or AWS is preferred.
- Experience with node-based graph libraries such as react-flow or litegraph.js is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, WCAG accessibility, and security best practices.
- Experience building and scaling design systems or component libraries is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Growth mindset and passion for learning, experimentation, and current frontend technologies.
