Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance frontend platforms, developer tooling, reusable UI components, and user experiences.
- Drive the technical direction and architectural decisions for the Arc Design System and related frontend platforms.
- Establish Design System governance, frontend best practices, engineering standards, and scalable application patterns.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering excellence and continuous learning.
- Deliver initiatives from technical design through implementation, deployment, and long-term maintenance.
- Build maintainable, accessible, secure, and thoroughly tested software with strong developer experience.
- Design and integrate AI-powered applications using Model Context Protocol servers, LLM APIs, agent workflows, and tool orchestration.
- Improve accessibility, frontend performance, rendering strategies, and cross-team consistency.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture, including SSR/SSG, React Server Components, micro-frontends, state management, and scalable application design.
- Proven experience architecting, governing, and evolving enterprise-grade Design Systems, reusable component libraries, and frontend platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and integrating AI-powered applications using Model Context Protocol servers, LLM APIs, agent workflows, and tool orchestration.
- Strong understanding of design token architecture, token governance, and cross-platform token management.
- Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, semantic HTML, inclusive design, responsive and adaptive UI development, Core Web Vitals, frontend performance optimization, rendering strategies, and advanced debugging and profiling techniques.
- Ability to make strategic architectural decisions, lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and drive initiatives through delivery and maintenance.
