Base Salary
$191k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and address key security gaps in Databricks infrastructure and services.
- Create the vision and define the strategy for security engineering and IAM-related areas.
- Represent the security engineering discipline throughout the organization and promote data-driven decision-making.
- Attract top security engineering talent across the industry.
- Represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences and events.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data security or related areas, with expertise in at least two listed security domains.
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
- Experience leading across functional and organizational lines.
- Strong communication skills for explaining and evangelizing data security to senior company leaders.
- A master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience building systems at large-scale internet companies is preferred.
