Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and adaptable automation frameworks for UI, web, desktop, API, database, and AI-powered applications.
- Develop UI, web, desktop, and API automation using Playwright, TestComplete, and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Java.
- Define testing strategies, plans, quality metrics, risk management, defect management, and end-to-end validation approaches.
- Integrate automated testing with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply AI tools, prompt engineering, AI-assisted debugging, test case design, test maintenance, and test optimization in quality assurance workflows.
- Perform API, database, SQL, JSON/XML, cross-browser, mobile web, accessibility, visual regression, and contract testing.
- Assess AI security and quality risks including prompt injection, jailbreaks, hallucination detection, and responsible AI testing.
- Manage, mentor, and develop QA and automation teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering with UI, web, and API automation expertise.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Playwright, TestComplete, or similar modern automation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Java for test automation and framework development.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable, enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Agile, test strategy, test planning, risk management, defect management, and quality metrics.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD integration, SQL, relational databases, REST APIs, and advanced end-to-end testing.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to improve test automation productivity and code quality.
- Knowledge of Page Object Model, data-driven testing, behavior-driven development, Cucumber, contract testing, prompt engineering, and responsible AI testing.
- Experience with TestComplete desktop automation, Playwright web testing, REST Assured, Postman scripting, visual regression, accessibility testing, and cross-browser testing.
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, architect modern AI-enabled test frameworks, and mentor teams on AI-assisted development and testing.
