Responsibilities
- Design enterprise cloud architectures across Azure and AWS, including compute, networking, identity, storage, and messaging.
- Architect and automate deployment solutions for containerized workloads, serverless applications, and data and messaging services.
- Standardize CI/CD practices, pipeline design, branching, automated testing, release gating, and rollback.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code adoption using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or CloudFormation.
- Manage shared Kubernetes cluster architecture, including multi-tenancy, RBAC, workload isolation, networking, network policies, and service mesh.
- Establish observability standards covering monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing.
- Define and enforce data and infrastructure governance and quality practices.
- Lead infrastructure incident response and post-mortems.
- Mentor engineers and drive adoption of cloud, DevOps, and troubleshooting best practices across scrum teams.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex architecture, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering, including multiple large or complex projects.
- Hands-on experience designing end-to-end enterprise cloud solutions rather than only deploying to existing architecture.
- Deep CI/CD expertise with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Broad Azure and/or AWS experience across compute, networking, identity, storage, and messaging.
- Proven Kubernetes experience, including shared or multi-tenant clusters.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or CloudFormation.
- Working knowledge of data governance and quality practices for cloud and infrastructure platforms.
- Strong cross-functional communication with data engineering and security teams.
- Preferred: experience with ArgoCD and GitOps tooling for declarative application deployment.
- Preferred: familiarity with DevSecOps practices, multi-cloud or hybrid networks, and relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or CKA.
