Responsibilities
- Work in a cross-functional, full-ownership team with Product, Design, and Data Science.
- Implement and release new features with a focus on backend stability and scalability.
- Build solutions for high-volume data processing supporting fraud detection.
- Maintain and improve React-based internal investigation tooling.
- Troubleshoot software, fix bugs, and help optimize database performance.
- Participate in technical discussions and learn infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate detection models.
Requirements
- Experience in full-stack web development through commercial work or a strong portfolio, with a backend focus.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of backend development with Node.js.
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database concepts, including technologies such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with component-based frontend development, ideally React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
- Interest in Applied AI and its integration with backend engineering is a preferred qualification.
- Strong collaboration, feedback, motivation, and continuous-improvement orientation.
