Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize high-performance systems handling thousands of requests per second.
- Own microservices across their design, deployment, operation, and maintenance.
- Maintain high availability and reliability for critical checkout and purchase-path infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze requirements and deliver business initiatives.
- Work with Java, Kotlin, Spring, MongoDB, GCP, microservices, and Airflow.
- Participate in structured on-call rotations and help ensure system stability.
- Mentor colleagues with less experience and share technical knowledge.
- Contribute to new tools based on Large Language Models.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience building and maintaining complex, highly scalable systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with a focus on reactive programming.
- Advanced hands-on MongoDB experience is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers and analyzing business requirements.
- A track record of cooperation with other technical teams.
- Readiness to participate in a structured on-call rotation.
