Base Salary
$113k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Import and manipulate 3D medical imaging datasets.
- Build and deploy applications for managing large volumes of medical image data.
- Build and deploy a graphical user interface for engineers and clinicians to place electrode targets using preoperative imaging.
- Develop a system that passes preoperative medical images to the surgical robot.
- Interface with intraoperative hardware for patient and tool tracking.
- Own the end-to-end medical imaging data pipeline, including image ingestion, multimodal image fusion, and surgical-coordinate navigation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated exceptional ability in engineering or computer science and a proven record of shipping software with real-world impact.
- Understanding of systems at a fundamental level and practical proficiency in linear algebra.
- Experience coding in Python, Rust, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience manipulating and visualizing 3D objects, such as through game development, VR/AR, or medical imaging.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or physics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with DICOM, NIfTI, protected health information, container management and orchestration, or infrastructure development.
