Base Salary
$128k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take independent ownership of high-impact features and small projects.
- Own components within systems, responsible for their development and maintenance.
- Write reliable, performant, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Ensure comprehensive testing for features, including unit and end-to-end tests.
- Write technical specs, runbooks, and documentation addressing requirements and security.
- Rotate on-call, monitoring deployed code for stability and performance.
- Support and escalate production incidents as needed.
- Partner closely with product, data science, analytics, and operations teams.
- Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to engineers and non-engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Python and/or Go.
- Familiarity with datastores such as Dynamo DB and cloud-based environments like AWS.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and foundational CS concepts.
