Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data warehouse solutions.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from multiple source systems.
- Develop and manage dimensional and relational data models for reporting and analytics.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms.
- Optimize database performance, query execution, and storage utilization.
- Integrate ERP, CRM, cloud, and third-party systems into the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and BI teams to deliver data solutions.
- Support reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and data warehouse issues.
- Automate data processing workflows and deployment processes.
- Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the cloud product portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience with data warehouse concepts, architecture, and data modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or Synapse.
- Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Databricks.
- Proficiency with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for data warehousing, storage, and processing.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Delta Lake.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, master data management, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, performance-tuning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Medallion architecture patterns.
- Preferred experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and holding relevant Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or Snowflake certifications.
