Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the end-to-end test automation strategy across various workflows.
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for multi-tenant systems.
- Build automated validation for deployment guardrails and release readiness.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Create automated coverage for high-risk paths and critical workflows.
- Drive test reliability and reduce flaky tests.
- Define and enforce quality gates for production releases.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure testable business outcomes.
- Improve test data management and environment stability.
- Mentor engineers on automation best practices.
- Partner with SRE and Security to ensure production readiness.
- Utilize AI-assisted tooling to enhance test creation and coverage.
Requirements
- 6+ years in QA Automation, SDET, or test engineering roles.
- Strong experience building automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Experience with regression testing and building test automations from test plans.
- Deep experience with modern E2E frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
- Strong API automation experience with REST-based testing frameworks.
- Experience validating cloud-native systems on AWS.
- Comfortable working in microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
- Proven ability to partner with platform teams on release pipelines.
