Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available tier 0 systems.
- Take ownership of backend infrastructure for core trust and security features.
- Evolve the technical roadmap and guide architectural decisions.
- Contribute to product design with a focus on security and trust.
- Lead engineering best practices in code quality and system reliability.
- Mentor engineers and support hiring and onboarding efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering roles.
- Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and web frameworks.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture.
- Passion for building secure and user-friendly products.
- Experience driving projects from ideation to production.
- Strong system design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading small teams is a plus.
