Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available services for Fusion’s control plane.
- Invent and optimize algorithms for multi-array and multi-cloud storage systems.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple locations to deliver customer-focused features.
- Drive technical strategy by influencing architecture and best practices.
- Solve complex challenges in distributed systems with creativity and insight.
- Own features from concept to production, ensuring efficiency and observability.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of innovation and technical rigor.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems software.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, or C++, with experience in multiple languages preferred.
- Background in distributed systems, networking, data protection, or cloud-native services.
- Experience with modern DevOps practices and cloud-native deployments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership presence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Willingness to work in-person in an open office environment.
