Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-quality production software.
  • Build and maintain applications using .NET/C# and apply language-specific best practices and design patterns.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
  • Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, and feature development in the payments domain.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reports, and use findings to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software delivery, automation, resiliency, and secure operational practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
  • Practical experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating, validating, and refining generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile engineering practices.
  • Experience writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries involving joins, subqueries, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern object-oriented language such as .NET/C# and with scalable, maintainable, high-performance application development.
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of practical software engineering experience.
  • Preferred: familiarity with JavaScript and React.
  • Preferred: exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
