Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design solution, application, data, cloud-native, integration, and other enterprise architectures.
- Develop feasibility studies, technical concepts, proofs of concept, technology assessments, and scalable software solutions.
- Analyze and optimize complex IT application landscapes, development processes, and organizational IT functions.
- Support IT implementation projects through work-package design, product and solution evaluations, architecture reviews, and quality assurance.
- Lead client workshops, working sessions, presentations, and consensus-building activities for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage, mentor, coach, and review the work of junior team members.
- Drive innovation, build client relationships, and assist with business development, proposals, and project scoping.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, business management, systems controls and engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including more than 4 years in architecture.
- Superior technical knowledge, engineering rigor, creative problem-solving, and the ability to explain complex technology to senior executives.
- Extensive knowledge of technology stacks, cloud-native and cloud-services architecture, integration, APIs, microservices, databases, transaction processing, monitoring, resiliency, disaster recovery, data analytics, AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, and DevOps/AIOps.
- Experience with agile engineering and tooling support, GenAI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, and validating generated responses.
- U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance or ability to obtain one, such as DoD Secret or Top Secret, are included among the stated client and contract requirements; prior U.S. federal technology consulting portfolio and project management experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and BCG offices, potentially with significant travel depending on client and project needs.

- First-year base compensation is $190,000 USD, with eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus and BCG Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund contribution.
