Responsibilities
- Lead backend development and deliver projects end-to-end through launch.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers on project planning, user needs, UI/UX concepts, and backend implementation.
- Partner with frontend engineers to define APIs and frontend functionality for smooth integration.
- Write reliable, well-tested code, including unit and functional end-to-end tests.
- Plan feature rollouts with product managers, monitor performance and user feedback, and address issues proactively.
- Provide progress updates, delivery estimates, technical direction, and clear communication to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer leading projects end-to-end to launch.
- Proficiency in Java development technologies, including the Spring framework.
- Knowledge of microservices, message queues, alerting, reliability, feature flags, design patterns, and API design principles.
- Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing approaches and libraries.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Pragmatic, quality-focused, delivery-oriented, collaborative, inquisitive, and team-oriented working style.
