Responsibilities
- Deploy the SOAR platform to AWS, Azure, SaaS, and on-premises environments, including client-facing deployment sessions.
- Improve and maintain scripts used for customer deployments.
- Research and adopt processes and technologies for build, development, testing, and deployment, including Azure infrastructure as code and Kubernetes.
- Diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and repair technical problems.
- Participate in the SOC team and collaborate with developers, project managers, cybersecurity engineers, and sales teams.
Requirements
- Understand basic version-control principles such as branching and merging.
- Be comfortable scripting and reading and understanding code, potentially using Python, PowerShell, YAML, and JSON.
- Have working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Have basic knowledge of virtual environments, containerization, TCP/IP networking, and firewalls.
- Be able to investigate, identify, and solve technical issues with strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms and collaborate in multicultural, cross-functional environments.
- Be responsible, proactive, independent, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies and processes.
- Candidates must be located in or willing to work in Vancouver, BC / the Greater Vancouver area.
