Base Salary
$191k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and frontend applications across the stack.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver customer-focused features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Build automated tests, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Contribute to system architecture and hands-on decisions supporting reliability, security, and scalability.
- Mentor and support other engineers while contributing to engineering culture and technical standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems or features.
- Experience building backend services with relational databases such as MySQL and working with microservices or service-oriented architectures.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks or libraries, with experience building user-facing experiences.
- Solid system design, coding, and testing skills across frontend and backend development.
- Ability to collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the growth of other engineers through reviews, guidance, or leadership.
