Base Salary
$93k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, testing, maintenance, integration, and optimization of non-embedded software products.
- Translate customer requirements into software designs, architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and documentation.
- Develop software tools supporting flight-software development and resolve technical issues through debugging and troubleshooting.
- Support software processes, performance metrics, research and development projects, supplier management, and compliance activities.
- Participate in user inquiries, technical issue resolution, feedback analysis, and implementation of relevant technologies and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent; preferred fields include engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
- At least 1 year of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
- At least 1 year of experience with SAFE Agile and/or GitLab.
- Preferred experience includes Docker image building, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, VxWorks Workbench, Git, VSCode Devcontainers, Ada, host environments, software architecture, databases, and standards-compliant software development.
- Must meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person and be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance.
